To The Editor:
I am writing to urge residents of Farmington and Unionville to get out and vote on Tuesday, Nov. 6 and re-elect Mike Demicco for state representative.
The election impacts the quality of life for our families in Farmington, our state and there is a lot at stake for all of us. i have known Mike and his family for over 18 years. He has served as our State Representative for the past 6 years with integrity; dedication and quickly the trust and respect of colleagues and constituents.
Mike has worked hard for Farmington during some very challenging times in our state. He has increased overall state grant dollars to Farmington, increased education for school security, secured grants for the Farmington High School Turf Field and West Woods Upper Elementary School playground. Mike advocates for common sense gun laws and as Chair of the Environment Committee he is setting aggressive goals to increase renewable energy and provide solar energy initiatives to homeowners. He is a tireless advocate for the concerns of women, senior citizens and the intellectual and developmentally challenged.
Mike is the compassionate, hardworking leader with the experience to keep fighting for Farmington. Please join me in voting for Mike Demicco on Tuesday Nov. 6.
